All of these parts are easily available in a formatted CSV file. I am comfortable with databases, but prefer to use a menu or script option that uses the interface due to the risks. All of older posts that I can find go into warnings of not messing with the database unless you are an expert. But I don't even see an easy way to import multiple items at once for the icon menu items. I understand how to make blocks so I am comfortable with creation of new parts that don't match existing icon menu components. I have gotten frustrated on my past couple projects because none of the parts utilized on our control systems are in the database. I am very experienced on AutoCAD but fairly new to AutoCAD Electrical. I need some advice on the part catalog database and best options for updating it. ![]()
